Today's post is my card for this week's
Less is More week 5 challenge, to use pastel colors. I finally used my Itty Bitty Bits set that has been sitting in my New Stamp basket for months. This card also qualifies for the
Ways to Use It challenge (WT312), polka dots.
I wasn't planning on making a baby card, but that is what this evolved to be. Anyone having a girl soon?
The colors are a lot more vivid IRL; it was hard to get a good photo of this card. The popped up images looked a little nekked, so I added a few half pearls and balanced them with a couple more by the sentiment, and the celery and daffodil images were stamped off once to make them more pastel-y.
Supplies:
Stamps - Itty Bitty Bits, Short & Sweet, Spunky Spots jumbo wheel
Paper - GKD PL white
Ink - Pink pirouette, celery, daffodil, Memento lavendar
Accessories - Scor-pal, mini pop dots, half pearls, Itty Bitty Shapes punch pack
Now that I've used my Itty Bitty set, I'm not so afraid of it anymore. Have you ever been afraid to try or use something? Please share.

Ich habe gerade Ihren Blog durchstöbert, und habe eine wundervolle Anleitung gefunden. In ihrem Posting vom 24.10. haben sie erklärt, wie man am Besten einen Kranz auf eine Karte klebt. Vieln Dank dafür, das mache ich bestimmt nach!
Und ich habe gesehen, was für ein wunderschön geschwungenes Beet sie angelegt haben. Ich bin ja auch begeisterte Gärtnerin (habe auch einen eigenen Gartenblog) darum bin ich sehr neugierig, was sie dort gepflanzt haben...;-))
Sie werden es im Frühling doch bitte, bitte herzeigen ? Ich nehmen Ihren Blog in die Sidebar auf, denn ich möchte das nicht versäumen...*ggggg*

ReplyDeleteI too had a hard time photographing my card creation because of the pastel colors. But your card is on a pale pink background which totally helps the colors stand out. Your creation is just sweet, sweet, sweet!
