The Same but Different

I recently got some new stamps from PTI (yes, out with the old, in with the new!), and had a little time to play with them today.

I created two cards using the exact same image, yet they are very different from each other.  I used different colors and changed the size of the image panel.  Different sentiment fonts help to evoke different moods.

Take a look...

I started out making this one.  When I was playing around with different colors for the flowers, I decided I should make a blue one, too.

I had different sizes of scraps of white, so that is how the image panels came to be different sizes.  That in turn dictated a different layout.

I stamped the branch twice with wasabi and celery to get a shadow effect.  I was off a little with the blue flowered branch, and it just looks blurry.  Kind of like what I see when I'm not wearing my reading glasses.  I finally broke down and bought some, but I refuse to wear them.  The only reason I bought them was so I could read the fine print on a bottle of medicine in an emergency.  Besides, my arms are still long enough!

Anyhoo...

Supplies used:
Stamps - short & sweet, wonderful words, PTI beautiful blooms
Paper - GKD PL white, poppy parade, pumpkin pie, marina mist, pacific point
Ink - wild wasabi, certainly celery, poppy parade, pacific point
Accessories - trio flower punch, fancy photo corner punch, daubers, rhinestones, nail heads, dimensionsals, SAMJ

Which one do you like better?  I'm having a hard time deciding.

Hope you have a great weekend!

I love both, but if I had to choose a favourite I would go with the first one - I love the colours!

More great stamps from PTI that I can't get in Aussie land :(
